Description

These vintage woman’s gloves are sized from 7 to 8 and both are marked.
The yellow pair is marked, “Grandoe – 7-7 ½-8 – 60% Nylon”.
This pair does show signs of being worn and there are some wrinkles, a few marks and minor soiled areas.
It features a pretty yellow buttercup material with a scalloped and stitched bottom that is also revealed around the thumb area.
The ruffled edge creates a very stylish look for this pair.
The white pair is marked, “Fownes Embraceable – One Size – 7 ½-8 ½ - 100 % Nylon – Made in the Philippines”.
This pair is still sewn together and was evidently never worn.
It features a bright white material with four dainty pierced daisies displayed on the top of each glove.
This pair is slightly transparent giving it a fancy appearance.
Although never worn this pair does show some wrinkles and an imperfection on the left hand glove.
Despite the minor flaws described these gloves are in good vintage condition with no evidence of damage.
These mid-century woman’s gloves have been well-preserved from a time when gloves wore worn regularly.
