    Description

With this product, looks can be deceiving. What you receive is 12 packs of multi-colored water beads. They do come in small ziplock bags but when put in water they expand and grow. A small amount of these go a long way.
    Water beads
    are tiny
    water-absorbent
    polymer. When exposed to
    water

    water
needed for growing plants. A single 10 gram packet of
    water
crystals expands to over 2 cups of
    beads
. They are cleaner and definitely prettier than soil and can be
    used
    and reused repeatedly.

Here is a fun project for you to add a natural scent to your home - A water bead diffuser.
What You Need To Make a Water Bead Diffuser
    Water beads
A jar – I love mason jars! small medium or large.
    Water
    A large bowl
Essential oils (Any kind you want!)
Ribbon, twine, lace, stickers, etc. to decorate your jar (optional but fun!)
    WATER BEAD DIFFUSER DIRECTIONS
Get a large bowl. Different beads expand differently, so see if your brand has particular advice on how much water to use. I suggest testing this out before the final preparation of the diffuser if you are not familiar with how the beads expand.
Put your beads in the bowl. I suggest a heaping teaspoon full of beads for my jar. Don’t be afraid to add more water than you think you’ll need – it’s easy to drain the beads.
While you’re waiting for your beads to expand, you can decorate your jar!
When your beads are expanded to the size you want, drain out excess water. I advise not doing this over a drain. You do not want to get the beads in a drain. Use a strainer if it makes draining the beads easier for you.
Add your favorite essential oil and stir gently to combine. The exact amount you’ll need depends on your jar and your scent strength preference, I use about 20 drops for a small mason jar. I love Lavender essential oil for my bedroom!
Poke holes in the top of your mason jar or leave it off. It is up to you! I like no top. (make sure you keep young children away from the beads, they can be dangerous for little ones if swallowed)
Reapply a few drops of oil every 4-5 days, or as needed, this will keep the scent strong, and add a little water to keep the beads hydrated. The exact amount of water you’ll need to add depends on your weather – humid conditions help to keep the beads hydrated and of course, dry weather will dehydrate them more quickly.
