    Description

This auction includes the original cardboard box, and a bundle of 8 pairs of nylon mitts (6 pairs of smoky turquoise blue mitts, 1 pair of red mitts, 1 pair of light blue mitts) and 7 original paper wrappers.  All mitts are size medium.  (they are quite itchy.  What women from the '50s wouldn't do for fashion.)
They all have the classic women's gauntlet shape of pointed arrow tip over the top of the hand and ruffles with a cinched wrist and a little bow on the wrist.
The pair of light blue mitts has a tear on the left thumb (but it's the end and might be able to be trimmed off without being too obvious.) all of the smoky turquoise pairs are still attached to each other with a dark blue thread, never worn. The red pair have been separated from each other but are in great condition. Two of the paper wraps have yellowing. (the box is likely not acid-free)
The box has water damage on the outside, but the inside looks perfectly clean and intact.
The box and the 7 paper wrappers have the following text:

side of lid also says: Color Blue 1 -- Doz. 1/2
