    Description

    1973 Nordic drag boat
This is a 1973 Nordic 19’ flat bottom, V-drive, drag racing boat with a B&M supercharged bored and stroked Chevy 468 V8
I purchased this boat about 6 years ago from a gentleman who had the boat about 20+ years.
He had fortunately kept the boat inside, however, hadn’t been out in it for a few years even though it started right up.
This boat had a full feature in HOT BOAT magazine in October 2006 and I wanted to bring it back and top its former glory since the black paint was showing its age.
I decided to have it repainted Cadillac Black Diamond by Advanced Autobody in Wakefield, RI as I love the OEM flake/pearl it offers.
I decided to strip the boat and rebuild/update everything at the same time.
I painted the interior with a satin black with a little texture for grip when it gets wet.
Polished every chrome piece two years ago, needs to be cleaned for the mirror finish again but the buffing has been completed.
I am tall and didn’t like how the original seats sat really high so purchased a pair of custom leather seats that are much lower and easy to get in and out of.
The engine I had rebuilt at R Johnsons & Sons in Warwick, RI.
He replaced the pistons, rods, bearings, all gaskets, water pump and inspected all of the other components such as the carbs, supercharger, etc.
It has TWO Holley 0-9022 800 CFM carbs with big open chamber heads, great combination to achieve the most power!
The V-Drive unit is the popular choice Casale V-Drive with easy to reach shifter.
This is a 100mph boat, included is a couple different pitched props for maximizing speed/acceleration.
Unfortunately, I do not have the time to enjoy the boat and it just sits in my garage under the cover.
There are a few odds and ends that it needs to be 100% again such as hooking up the second fuel tank, hooking up the dash gauges, final engine tuning, a coil, 3 drain plugs, and needs a battery.
I rebuilt the trailer with new wheel bearings, electrical ran with new LED’s, new/updated hitch receiver, new tires, and paint.
Ready for at least another decade of use.
The boat and trailer are registered to me and will be transferred to the buyer.
I am not looking for any trades.
I can assist with shipping/delivery as that might be a worry for some people.
